Landmarks information
Sissinghurst is one of the most famous gardens of the world. Created by Vita Sackville-West and Sir Harold Nicholson. The Sheffield Park is a 100 acre garden with a series of lakes linked by cascades originating in the 18th century and richly planted over the succeeding centuries. The Wakehurst Place is a very large and scenically magnificent garden covering a naturally dramatic site of woodlands rocky valleys streams and lakes. Another special place on this tour is Nymans , which boasts one of the first heather gardens in the country, a sunken garden with lanterns and the great stone wisteria.
